Product Description:
- High performance 3M™ PTFE 5451 glass cloth tape features a brown glass cloth interlining impregnated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). This tape provides a smooth surface on processing machinery and provides an extremely low coefficient of friction. It is combined with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive to produce a non-stick surface at high temperatures.
Product Features:
- Premium glass cloth reinforced backing tape provides greater tensile strength and better tear and perforation resistance than classic PTFE film substrate tape
- Silicone adhesive has good high temperature performance and is not easy to age
- Provides non-stick and low friction surfaces on heat sealing and packaging equipment
- Can operate in a wide temperature range including up to 500°F/260°C
